Welcome to Wholeness
As a Movement Educator, I'm passionate about transforming the way we learn. I believe that learning should nurture the whole child - heart, mind, and body. That's why I'm dedicated to creating movement-based activities that balance EQ and IQ development, fostering creative, emotional, and critical thinking.
My Approach
With a postgraduate in Cultural Studies and Dance/Movement Therapy, I bring together movement, everyday experiences, and education to create a unique learning experience. The mission is to sustain the innate curiosity, compassion, and competence of children. The goal is to equip them to blossom in a world where emotional intelligence is just as vital as academic achievement.
The Why
In an era dominated by Al and competitive IQ, I want to contribute to the field of Pedagogy and curriculum building focusing on emotional well-being and all that the current curriculum lacks. By integrating movement therapy into education, we can help children develop essential life skills, such as emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience. Research backs this up, showing that movement therapy can reduce anxiety and depression symptoms by 50% and improve emotional regulation in 80% of participants.
The Vision
Imagine a learning environment where children can explore, express, and grow without constraints. Where they can develop their passions and skills through experiential learning, without the pressure of high-stakes testing. Where they can cultivate emotional intelligence, creativity, and critical thinking, setting them up for success in all areas of life.
At Wholeness, we're committed to creating a more compassionate, holistic approach to education. Let's work together to give children the tools they need to blossom in body, mind, and spirit.
