Making learning liberating! Equipping children with mindful movements to balance EQ & IQ and to detract rote learning.
In an era dominated by Al and competitive IQ, I want to contribute to the field of Pedagogy and curriculum building focusing on emotional well-being and all that the current curriculum lacks. By integrating movement therapy into education, we can help children develop essential life skills, such as emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience. Research backs this up, showing that movement therapy can reduce anxiety and depression symptoms by 50% and improve emotional regulation in 80% of participants.
A collaborative art process, I facilitate, that explores core values, impact and challenges through self-reflection. Fostering self-awareness and teamwork, it bridges the gap between aspiring and realising - from wanting to becoming to being.

Ever wondered how using folk dances in a classroom environment would look like? Or in a therapeutic setting?
One such thought struck me while attending my classes. On researching I came across existing studies which guided me to go forward with my assignments. I looked at how Hulivesha (Tiger Dance of Karantaka) can be used for physical, emotional and physiological development for children and adults alike.
The insightful module and feedback by Ms Ashley Fargnoli LCPC, LPCC, BC-DMT helped me structure my findings through experiential learning (choreography).
At the end of the module, I was credited with a certificate through Sancheti Healthcare Academy (SHA), Pune.
